For the past few months I’ve been helping with Jon Schnepp’s The Death of Superman Lives: What Happened? documentary.
We’ve interviewed many of the creative minds involved with the original ’90s movie that never got finished. Yesterday, we went to Kevin Smith‘s house in Hollywood and shot a two-hour interview in his recreation room / bar. He was the screenwriter before Tim Burton took over, and told us a lot of funny stories.
No surprise, Kevin was easy to work with. (Most successful people are. It’s the other ones you need to look out for: the bluffers, the pain-in-the-ass wannabes who think success will happen if they’re bossy and demanding.) He arrived on the set, gave us a big box of donuts and let us take our time. A funny and charming guy.
