Comparing Orchestral Venues In MIRx

In this video, I use a musical example called “William Shatner On Ice” to demonstrate an extension for Vienna Intruments that has made a huge impact on my orchestral mixes. It’s called MIRx. It’s a more affordable counterpart to the full MIR Pro software. MIRx is a convolution reverb, and it also has incredible mixing and EQ presets. I’m going to play you the same short piece of music in all 5 MIRx concert halls, so you can compare them. Then, we’ll take a look at some of the controls.
